GAME BALANCE
■ Buffs
Peppermint Cookie
- Basic Attack (Sea Foam Jelly) Healing: 133 → 173
- Charged Heal (Sea Foam Jelly – Charged): 798 → 1,037
- Ultimate 1 (Song of the Sea) Healing: 904 → 1,357
- Ultimate 2 (Song of the Waves) Healing: 266 → 399
- Ultimate 3 (Song of the Abyss) Damage: 1,064 → 1,383
- Dev Notes: Peppermint Cookie is a cornerstone support Cookie, designed to keep the team alive through continuous healing - but in the current combat environment, his healing output and speed weren't pulling enough weight in team fights. These increases to Basic Attack and Ultimate healing values let him support allies more reliably in battle, strengthening the whole team's staying power!
GingerBrave Cookie
- Basic Attack (Candy Cane Attack) Reload Speed: 1.3s → 1.1s
- Status Effect Immunity granted during Ultimate
- Dev Notes: GingerBrave Cookie is a charge-type Cookie built to disrupt enemy formations and create combat opportunities through high mobility and his Ultimate's knockback effect. However, in the current environment, his Ultimate was being countered relatively easily, limiting his overall utility beyond formation-breaking. Granting status effect immunity during his Ultimate lets him more reliably fulfill his role as a wildcard creator, while the faster Basic Attack reload speed helps him stay relevant and contribute consistently in standard combat situations!
Passive: Summoner Hunter
- Damage bonus: 20% → 50%
- Applies to: Bacon Roll Cookie (Basic Attack), Fruit Punch Cookie (Basic Attack)
- Dev Notes: Boosting the passive's potency makes type matchups feel more meaningful depending on Cookie composition - bring the right counters, and you'll feel the difference!
■ Nerfs
Licorice Cookie
- Special Skill 2 (Crushing Licorice Barrier) Attack Reduction: 70% → 60%
- Dev Notes: Licorice Cookie was designed to make up for his lack of mobility by securing survival opportunities through strong suppression abilities. Currently, the high attack reduction effect of his Special Skill has been doing more than just defensive work, it's also being leveraged as an aggressive, wide-range suppression and harassment tool. This slight reduction tones down those cases where the skill exerts excessive influence as an offensive area-denial tool in combat!
Melon Soda Cookie
- Basic Attack (Soda Pump) Damage: 200 → 190
- Dev Notes: Melon Soda Cookie is designed to support allies through her support skills while leveraging a quickly-recharging magazine for strength in sustained combat. However, following a recent damage buff, her close-range burst pressure and firepower started outperforming her intended sustained-combat role. This slight reduction tones down her excessive influence in point-blank engagements, bringing her performance back in line with her original support identity!
Latte Cookie
- Special Skill 3 (Latte Art Staff) Damage: 1,040 → 832
- Dev Notes: The single-hit damage of Latte Cookie's Special Skill 3 (Latte Art Staff) was set excessively high compared to other sustained damage skills, leading to usage patterns that drifted from the original design intent. This adjustment brings her damage output back in line with her intended role!
Several Mage, Sniper, and Bomber Cookies
- Special Skill Movement Distance: reduced by ~25%
- Affected Cookies: Jerky Cookie, Blueberry Pie Cookie, Blue Slushy Cookie, Cherry Cookie, Rye Cookie
- Dev Notes: Ranged Cookies are designed to keep their distance and maintain stable attack positioning - but some currently have dash distances longer than other classes, letting them escape danger too easily or chase down opponents with excessive reach. As a result, even when melee Cookies create good engagement opportunities using map terrain, ranged Cookies can quickly reset the distance or react too fast, preventing those opportunities from paying off. This adjustment trims their movement distance while still preserving their ability to keep a healthy distance - so when melee Cookies successfully close the gap, the fight actually means something!
■ Passive Adjustments
The effects of certain Passive Power Sands are being adjusted! Power Sands are growth elements designed to open up diverse strategic choices based on each Cookie's traits and playstyle. Right now, though, a handful of Power Sands have become dominant - with most players gravitating toward the same picks, weakening combat diversity and the strategic weight of Power Sand selection. These adjustments aim to make a wider variety of Passive Power Sands viable for different Cookies’ characteristics and combat styles, so every build feels like a real choice suited to your Cookie's role and playstyle! We hope this change opens the door for Power Sands to be used as truly diverse strategic options - picked to fit each Cookie's role and playstyle, not just the current favorite!
Passive Power Sand: Battle Blessing
- Heal on Kill: 10% → 15%
